Greater Frigate and Western Great EgretsLa Parguera is home to many aquatic and song birds and is a great place for bird watching. You can find many species of birds, including several that are endemic to the island. La Parguera is most known for the endemic and endangered Yellow-shouldered Blackbird. The Yellow-shouldered Blackbird is a trash bird that can often be seen picking at discarded food scraps all over the small town.
